Morocco's Potential Increasing Trade

Ahmet Ciger (president of MARFIED) gave a report on his way home to Casablanca on November 16, 2009. He said that the custom duties that are placed on the trade between Turkey and Morocco are unreasonably outrageous! If Morocco simply lowers it's custom duties then it will be more successful and involved with the trade between the rest of the world.
Turkey's trade with Morocco has damaged Turkey because of the high custom duties. Turkey would like to keep helping Morocco, but they would also like to benefit from it.
At the meetings that took place between 62 Turkish businessmen and 414 Moroccan businessmen, they agreed that they would build an 180,000 unit housing plan to clean up the streets and take care of the lower class citizens in Morocco. Morocco is looking at natural resources to fix the energy shortage and they are investing $9 billion for firms who want to invest in solar energy. Turkey can now invest in Morocco's renewable energy sector.
